Really a shame I can't recommend this game. Asociation mode is fun and as close to real NBA action in a game as you can get. Sadlt, NBA 2K12 is not as great as it could of been if not for its one terrible flaw, My Player mode. It is a compete joke how bad the AI is. Whichever team you are drafted by, the players on it will play like total morons for most of the season. Tanking the rookie game and getting picked late by a good team will aleveate your frustation level somewhat, but even then, playing vs a another good team is almost a guaranteed loss. As for personal gains, trying to get assists is pointless. Even when you make great passes to get them wide open shots, they will either blow the very easy layup, get blocked or just stand around until they get double teamed or have to bail out. Turning the ball over leads to fast breaks in which the other team will score on 100% of the time. Leaving your man on D unguarded for a half second will lead to the ball getting to him and him scoring on every shot.
