This is a 2012 demo of a game MilitAnt that is still under development... The last news of which were heard in 2013. Not sure if this is active or not.

Anyway, this game is supposed to be a modern take on PC 2D shooter genre. The ones where you would control movement of character with keyboard, while controllng aim with your mouse. Demo features only single big level (2 bosses!) with few weapons available. It has some intersting features, like melee, reflecting bullets, shooting from both hands, overheating, even useless dodge-strafe thing.

And while this demo seems to show that it's not exactly cheap production, it surely has a lot of problems, both in game design and just controls... Mostly, you will find yourself having real hard time avoiding projectiles, with enemies taking shots at you from outside of camera, or having you ambushed from both sides in a narrow tunnel, where you can't maneuver at all... Reflect, that is supposed to be the way of defence there, seems to work badly. Also, weapons not being balanced and all that. Having only few lives before being sent right to the very beggining isn't helping. Overall, I am not hot about game, judging by demo.
